Having worked in various areas of the animal industry from farming to grooming, with 14 years in animal rescue, I have built a broad knowledge of practical skills.

Due to my parents' work commitments a family dog was not an option during my early childhood, so to satisfy my love of dog companionship I would "borrow" the neighbour's dogs for walks and training. My first obedience trial was with a neighbour's Irish Setter crossed Springer Spaniel.

I have developed a keen interest in finding the right motivation for each dog, as I know just like us each dog is an individual. My family settled on a breed of terrier as the dogs for us and over the last 30 years I have had plenty of opportunities to refine these skills; including competing in a multitude of different settings, from conformation showing at Crufts to Rally Obedience at Kennel Club Sanctioned events
